Post subject: 98 Civic won't start

Tonight, once i started the car and all of a sudden i heard a "pop" sound, and after that i couldn't start it any more. it shouldn't be the battery problem because i can still turn on the radio and lights.

any possible dignosis? and how can i fix it?
