Post subject: '97 misfire when cold

I have a '97 Sportage that has a misfire for the first couple minutes every time it is started cold. If I run it a couple minutes, shut it off for a few seconds and restart it it runs fine every time. Any ideas??? Thanks

Spark Plugs-how the heck do ya change 'em? - We have a 1999 Kia Sportage, since Feb 2003. The fuel efficiency has gone down, and we wanted to change the spark plugs. The way it looks the plugs are somewhere in the middle of the engine? Is this going to require a partial disassembly? Dave
