96 Dodge Intrepid problem

Hi. My 96 Dodge Intrepid has an interesting problem. The check engine light is on and it is running a little rough, but other than that it is normally ok. The problem is when it has been driven for a half hour or so and has gotten warmed up it will die when i slow down. it will still drive fine on the highway but if i try to stop or slow down for a turn it starts dieing. i took it in and had it hooked up to a computer for a diagnostic and all that it came back with was a 'random misfire'. 2 of the plug wires were bad so i had them and the plugs replaced and it is still doing it. anybody have any ideas? thanks!
