Post subject: 94 Dodge caravan

I have rust on each of the "lips" to the rear wheelwell. An ex-chrysler body
tech advised, that there is a sponge in that area, that absorbs moisture
causing this problem. Has anyone had such a defect and how did they resolve
with Chrysler? Thanks for your help. Pete

I was thinking the same thing. I can remember when cars didn't have any
fenders or wheel wells left at all after 11 years!

1992 dodge caravan se - my check engine light was on and the maintance required light so i had it checked and it said the 02 sensor was bad i replaced it and hooked the battery back up and it still reads the o2 sensor is bad and now also the alternator is bad i also replaced it...

94 Dodge Caravan 3.0 - Replaced timing belt in July. Just put in new starter. It does not engage the engine. I looked inside where I add oil and I notice that the valves are not moving....is it possible that my timing belt has broken a second time? I put two starters on..
