Post subject: 914 sideshift transaxle cable linkage

looking for info on using a cable shift linkage for a 914 transaxle in the mid engine configeration , who makes a kit for this trans . i am building a porsche 917 laser kit car with a 350 chevy mid engine set up , a porsche 914 -901 transaxle side shift , shift handle and cable is not the problem it is when you try to connect the cable to the trans no one makes the adaptor fot this trans any idears? thanks paul
