Hi,

Took my car in for a routine service and afterwards, I've had
intermittent electrical problems affecting all four windows, the clock,
the OBC, door locks, seat controls and radio. They will stop working
and after driving a few miles, they will again work. By the time I get
home, they're not working.

After troubleshooting, the mechanic cleaned and tightened up a ground
wire in the engine bay but the problem continues even after 3 visits to
the shop in an attempt to resolve.

Don't know if it's related but during the first visit, the mechanic
repaired the driver's headrest so it could be raised and lowered using
the seat control as well as replaced the window switch on the left read
door.

Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks, figured it out myself. Used Google and it pointed to an 80a
fusible link. It was definitely broken. I fixed it and I'm back in
business.

Guess I'll be looking for a new service shop. Shouldn't have been that
difficult. The fix was so simple that I kind of think they didn't
bother all that much trying to figure it out.

If it's anything like the UK few service shops or even dealers have
qualified auto electricians. You need a specialist for that.
