I've noticed a couple of issues with the lighting on my 94 9000CSE. The
first problem is that the fog lights put out almost no light. Even if I
have the parking lights on (no headlights) and turn the fog lights on, I
see almost no illumination (mind you this _is_ at night :p). I
thought about reversing the metal bulb cover that directs light to the
back of lens so that the bulb can shine directly out of the fog light
lens, would that help? hurt? Maybe I should try a higher wattage bulb?
The other problem is that my headlights are pointed down way too much,
especially my passenger side light. I can barely see 5 feet in front of
me with low beams, and its not too much better with high beams. I've
tried turning the adjustment screws, and that doesn't seem to do
anything at all (stripped?). Are there any other ways of adjusting the
headlights short of replacing them?
Any thoughts/ideas would be helpful, it seems pretty dangerous to be
driving around with limited visibility.
Thanks
-Chris
