Archived from groups: rec>autos>makers>vw>watercooled (more info?)

Hi fellas, like Chuck diagnosed it, I found the rear exhaust valve to
have both inner and outer springs broken> I was able to buy the outer
spring but the inner is out of stock from Beck Arnley and Worldpac. I
have a 2 valve cylinder head somewhere in the garage, and I was thinking
to take one valve setup apart to see if I can use its inner spring
provided there is one. Has anyone BTDT? Or can any of you supply me with
one used spring, Please help..Thanks a lot..
