88 dodge pickup front driver axle

On my 1988 dodge pickup full size pickup, auto, 318. The driver side front
axle lost a bearing and the universal. Can't seem to find an axle anywhere.
The mechanic found axles for that year but they have all been wrong. The
bearing race is part of the axle in the housing. Instead of the race being
separate. The shaft is damaged and is not repairable. Does this sound
familiar to anyone.
