2000 Silverado AC - Hi all, I bought a used 2000 Silverado and the AC has never worked. When i try turnning on the AC nothing happens (no light nothing), I tried hooking up power directly from the battery to the AC and the clutch does try to engage but it stalls out the.

o6 silverado - my ac wires burned the plastic right off by the blower, is this a recall issue or sorry charlie? it only bured one wire and my fan dont work now...

have a new air filter fuel pump fuel filter and when the engine gets
warm and if I am going up hill the engine has little or no power even
with the pedal to the floor..it doesnr rev high just like as if no
gas. This doesnt happen in the winter??

Could be a plugged catalytic converter. I encountered that same symptom
with a 1981 Suburban 1/2 ton 454.
