Oh yeah, I paid, but I figured that in 30 years of national event
attendance, I think they actually finished it the same day like once, so
I took the three hours and made it home about the same time they started
running again.
For the life of me, I can't tell you what race it was where they did
run, but I remember it was miserable, standing under a racer's (alcohol
F/C) awning getting soaked due to the wind, and being very
uncomfortable. The sun came out and the jet dryer came out and soon they
were running again. And the track turned into a totally one lane track.
Now that I think about it, I think it was the Fallnationals in Seattle.
Lots of trees. That's the only track I was ever at that had all those
trees, I think..
