Archived from groups: alt>autos>bmw (more info?)

I have a 1993 325i coupe with a dodgy automatic gearbox. The number on
the box is 5HP 18 and I have located a 5HP 19 for sale. Does anyone
know if they are compatible with each other i.e. the 19 can be fitted
in place of the 18 without too much alteration?
