Cold weather - We recently had a few cold mornings near freezing in Southern California. Since my car is garaged, the temp. registered 50F when I got in. As I drove a few blocks, it fell to 34-36F. When it fell through 37, a warning light and bell came on to tell me....

Cold Start 535i - Whenever my engine is on idle it starts to rev up and down and the car shakes from the revving. The engine light comes on and I can smell rich odor from the exhaust. Please help me on advise. Thanks.

shift 2 -> 3rd slow when cold. (92 e32) - Fresh back from dealing with a blown headgasket; now my tranny is acting up. When the car is cold; (say 1st or 2nd shifts) going from 2nd to 3rd doesn't happen "correctly" -- it'll rev up to 3grand w/o romping on it... just putting along. on...
