Hi recently bought a 306 GTI-6 that's been lowered at the front and
presumably had the torsion bar adjusted at the back. I want to put it
back to standard, besides sticking standard springs on the front anyone
know what's involved at the back and how difficult it is? any info much
appreciated

Apparently only Peugeot will adjust the rear ride height (where I live anyway) because Torision bars are difficult to work with. If you get the job done could you post the cost because my rear suspension needs adjusting (and probably replacing)? If it's a mark I then you might want to get the bar replaced while they're at it cos apparently it costs a fortune when it finally has to be done. They normally start to rust up at around 10 years old.
