i got a 259 and first gear start auto trans for sale that i just
pulled of of my 1963 lark the motor has a resent valve job and runs
good with no smoke. $400.00 or offer. Also have a 64 daytona hard top
in rough shape for $200.00 ,was a 4 speed car has nos front fenders.

Don't need the engine, but tell me more about the "1st gear start"
trans. I might be interested in that... FOM? Watercooled or
aircooled? How was it converted to 1st gear start?

I'd like to have the engine, but getting it to Fla would run the cost up way high.

Any problems with it? Did you just put the valve body in or were other
mods done to it? Would you consider selling just the trans separately?
