Just idle curiosity here (and a pathetic wish for a lottery win): what's the
current value of a 1958 250 Testarossa? I understand that there were 18
made, and I'm assuming that one or two have been sold recently.

Ta muchly.

Ooh, this reminds me! Someone asked about KONI's on a TR. I was supposed to ask
you what you have on it now and then get back to KONI with that. The guys I
asked at the show, weren't sure about the TR suspension off the top of their
heads.

It's hard to say since they change hands so
rarely and there are so few of them.

Judging by the prices that other 250 series Ferraris
bring you'd better hope you win Powerball and not
just some state "Super Lotto"...

As a guess you should expect the price to be in the
high-six-to-low-seven figure range depending on the
car's condition and history (raced at LeMans, etc.).

I'm a big fan of the pontoon-fendered TRs myself,
but I admit the full-fendered cars look great too. I'd
take any of 'em, given the opportunity.

I have some really awesome 250 TR wallpapers, Trent, if you're
interested put your {heavily disguised} email here and I'll send them along.

The fake magazine VITALS, just a series of ads and product placements
masquerading as editorial content, claims, in a most worthless
"article" on classics restorations, a '58 sold for $14.5Million last
May.

It shouldn't be too hard to research May 2005 auctions and sales.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Cavallino's Guide shows $6-$12 million for one of the 250TRs. Nice range isn't
it?
