My mate had this same problem with his wife's 206. If I remember right, he
towed it to a garage, where they dropped the sump, got the bit out and then
put it all back. Not a big job, just easier for a garage to do it with the
car on a ramp. He may have been a bit over cautious, but myself also
wouldn't like to think what would happen if that bit got from the sump into
the engine.
Don't want to scare, but best be safe than sorry,
