Post subject: 2006 Formula1 and WRC calendars dba file to import into Palm Calendar on your PDA
Archived from groups: rec>autos>sport>rally (more info?)

A few years ago I spent ages trying to find a dba file to import the F1
and WRC calendars into my Palm PDA, and eventually found a tool to
create dba files, so thought I would make a dba of next years
provisional calendar available for anyone to download from the
following location.

2006 Provisional Formula1 Calendar
http://www.jbstuff.co.uk/f1-2006p.dba

2006 Provisional WRC Calendar
http://www.jbstuff.co.uk/wrc-2006p.dba

Right click on either link and select save as to any folder you like on
your PC.

>From the palm desktop calendar view select file->import and select the
dba file you just saved.

All the races are listed at 11am starts, with 72 hour alarms, each race
is listed according to the provisional calendar released by the FIA and
WRC.

Hope this is useful, just for my interest, drop me an email to say
thanks if you are using this, so I know if it is worth posting this
next year.

You can find the utility I used for this (convdb) by doing a google
search for 'download convdb venkman'. Please don't email me for support
with convdb, I know nothing about it, but it is very straightforward to
use and has good readme and docs.

James.

Just a note to say there was a typo in file, WRC Germany is on 11th not
1st August, I have corrected this now, but if you downloaded the file
earlier you will have to check/change the date for Germany.
