Sorry Guys, I got extremely busy and was away on Vacation.
However, here is the update:
It turns out it was the EGR valve.
Cost me 320$ CDN to get it fixed - Part and Labor.
The engine light was gone, and all the symptoms went away.
If I would have said no to the dealer to fix it, it would have cost me
$100 anyway,so I decided to get it fixed to save my time and lot of
unknown, but if this happens again I will do it myself.
I would have probably saved approx $100 dollars if I did it myself
(it’s really simple to replace this part) and purchase the part as
well. I figured I am going to loose $100 anyway, so I bit the bullet
and issue was resolved.
Result: Satisfactory.
For those of you who don’t know EGR valve, just google it and there is
a ton of very helpful info on this including how to replace it.
Cheers!
