I'm thinking of selling my 2000 Honda Accord EX Sedan (4 cyl) and getting an
2003 Acura CL 3.2L V6.
How reliable is the 2003 Acura CL?
I thinking of getting the Acura CL V6 because I want a coupe, better
interior
and more power for passing other cars while going up hills. >> Stay informed about: 2003 Acura CL 3.2L, should I by it? |

I have an '01 TL and it's a very reliable car, except for the
automatic transmission. Honda replaced mine a few months ago with what
they assure me is a "fixed" one.

My CL-S is a six-speed manual, which is superior to the automatic in this model. I have seen reports of problems in the auto trans. The car has tremendous acceleration and performance, and excellent, if unexciting, handling. I can see over 25mpg on the highway and over 21 around town (if I short-shift it). It has plenty of torque over 3500 rpm. Great fun to drive and excellent reliability so far. But I also suggest some improvements such as Tighter turning circle, larger gas tank. Both have improved in its replacement, the new TL.
