I will be driving and I will suddenly lose power for about a second then it will pop back on. Any idea what this may be? It has only been happening once a trip to work/church ect.

Any idea what I would tell a mechanic to look for?

Thanks,

Dave

I had two immediate thoughts reading your question: first, never tell a
mechanic "what to look for". He may well have an idea that would differ from
yours, yet will happily piss away your money exploring that dead end. My second
thought has to do with your car's electrical ground.... something you could
check yourself. Are the battery cables tight?

Or a lose wire that is not a ground or an intermittent vacuum leak.
