Post subject: 2001 Dodge Ram 2500

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 2500 5.9L V8.It now has 82,000 miles on it.I bought it with 76,000 miles on it.Right now I use Mobil 1 synthetic blend high mileage motor oil with a K&N Gold oil filter.I was wondering what would be better for my truck the high mileage syntec blend or a full synthetic oil?I am looking to keep this truck for a long time and add many performance upgrades. If anyone has any feedback about these trucks or suggestions I would appreciate it.
