Oooh, that does not sound good. Yes, it could be a wheel bearing, though I
submit that by now it would have gotten much more serious.
Another possibility is something in one of the drive half-shafts, possibly a
joint.
Half-shafts run around $200-300, plus alignment, etc. Wheel bearings
usually must include replacement of an entire hub, which usually is closer
to $400.
