Would that recirc door be vacuum operated???

I don't know about your Dak,but my 2007 CTD 2500 4x4 did the same
thing. I had to take it to the dealer to have it fixed. They said
that they had to remove the dashboard and instrument panel to access
the recirc. door. It Took them two days.
