Post subject: 1st generation tranny swap?
Archived from groups: alt>autos>camaro>firebird (more info?)

Hi all I have a 69 camaro 350 and a th350 trans with 6cyl stock 10
bolt open rear. I want to street/strip the car. I found a good 12 bolt
456 posi rear. With gas this high I want to swap a tranny from a newer
z28 like a 700r4. What drive shaft do I need? Or should I get mine
cut? Thanks for any ideas. Car currently has 235-60-r15 on Rally rims.
