Just an FYI post.
Bought a 1999 Malibu, 63K miles, 6 cyl J motor, for my wife back in
Aug 07, Replaced all springs and struts. Was good for like 3 months
and then had to replace both rear strut mounts. Wish I had just
bought whole strut. Would have made life a lot easier.

Also replaced front pass strut mount for noise. Might have been able
to just grease it but hope to have the car for a while.
