1996 Honda Accord V6 skips and check engine light is on

I had the codes ran on the engine light and it said a crank shaft position sensor A. So i ordered the part spent my entire day changing the part. The old one was BAD. THe car started great, but now it wont rev over 3500 RPMs.. it just skips when you go higher than 3500. I ran the code checker again and it says the crank shaft position sensor A again???? I dont understand. Oh and the A?C evaporator whistles when the A?C is on?? If anyone can help please reply.

sometimes when you change a crank shaft position sensor the vehicle has to be hook up to a diagnostics machine to do a crank sensor re-learn.
