Trying to help a friend out with a 94 Bonneville..
The blower fan doesn't work at all.. The only way we can get heat to
work is put it in the vent position and either the defrost or heater
mode.. After driving for some time we can feel some heat coming out of
the vent..
Any ideas? Is there a fuse that may have blown that controls the
blower fan motor? Also a relay?
Not familiar with this car and I see a fuse block under the dash and a
fuse bock under the hood that has maxfuses in it along with a bunch of
relays..

Any help in getting this figured out will be much appreciated!

thanks,
george

What model of Bonneville, SE, SSE, SSEi? Some of them have automatic
climate control. Does this one? Also, your best bet for Bonneville repairs
would be www.thebonnevilleclub.com

Great resourse for Bonneville's.

Hi, Their is no emblems on or in the vehicle to tell me what it is
other than a Bonneville.. The VIN starts out with 1G2HX.. It's a non
supercharged 3800 V/6.. And it does not have the climate control
system..

thanks,

Sounds like an SE to me. I would suggest checking all fuses first.
Secondly, I would try just turning the ignition on (not starting the car),
and turning the fan to full, and see if you can hear it running. If you
can't, you may be looking at a new fan motor. Like I said though, post your
question on www.bonnevilleclub.com (sorry for the error in the address in my
first post). Those guys and gals specialize in Bonneville's. Be sure to
include the year and engine size (3800) in your post.
