hey i need help i have a 92 oldsmobile eighty eight royale and my heat
shield is laying on the exhaust and it rattles when i drive do any of you
know how i can put it back up where it belongs

hey well i solved the problem i bought sheet metal screws from home depot
and screwed it back it now no rattling

i really have no clue whatever was there was rusted away so there wasnt
anything there anymore but there were holes in the heat shield so that leads
me to beleave that there were once screws of some sort there

So he replaced the bearing in the motor and then did an oil change. I guess when it was all done he started it up and it was okay but....

1986 Delta 88 Royale..idle - i just got a 86 delta 88 and im having problems with the idle....when i start it the idle is high and stays high, and doesnt kick down unless i let it warm up then shut off the car and restart it, then its fine...what could be my problem here ? ..
