I have the infamous shudder problem on my sons 1992 Lebaron GTC. Dropped the oil pan yesterday and while there was some silver dust in the fluid no metal parts that I could see.
Problem only happens after car is warmed up , when upshifting ussually while accelarating around a corner transmission will shudder. Has gone into limp mode twice.
No Codes in computer.
none of the local Chrysler dealers can reprogram the TCM, they just want to sell a new one. My question is was the same TCM used in multiple years? Can I get a TCM from a 1995 and plug right into a 1992?
