According to my 91 Service Manual for my Bonnevile Code 27- 28 - 29 is
for Gear Switch Diagnosis.
The Gear Switch is located in the transaxle.

1997 Buick Park Avenue - Can't figure out how to remove and replace the Serpentine belt. Looks like the entire engine mount has to come off. Am I missing the boat and the operation is not that difficult? Bob
93 Buick LeSabre kills when placed in Park - This car has 72K miles. It idles fine and the engine runs fine in all gears, except when placed in Park. When placed in Park, whether engine is hot or cold, when changing gears to Park the engine stalls. Note that when starting the car in Park it idles....
