Is a 1987 Camaro considered an antique? Its bright red and looks good!

There are no set rules for what constitutes an "antique" or "classic" car.
Different licensing and insurance bureaus may define the terms, but there's
no single definition for any of the automotive terms, other than pre- and
post-war.

But given that I was pushing 30 in 1987, the car is definitely NOT AN
ANTIQUE!

Usually for it to be considered an antique, it would have to be over
25
years old, which would not make your Camaro eligible until 2012, or
so,
depending on when it was built and sold.
