no go, Focus -05B

Post subject: no go, Focus -05B
Archived from groups: alt>autos>ford>focus (more info?)

have runned 6000km and this morning tried starting, dead.
did guess battery was dead and bought a remote starter unit for $150,
then when opening the bonnet/hood.
checked the voltage 12.35, enough for a start, saw plus post was not
tighten.
the auto sales company had'nt tighten the positive battery post !
some faults dont come cheap !

How much did it cost to tighten the battery terminal? Did you have to buy a
spanner? After all, that's all it cost to fix it!

$ zero, had the 10mm tool to tighten it.
how do you rank the auto sales company that does't tighten a battery
terminal, and give an 12 month warranty ?
